Anthony Polifrone
Managing Director

A Buyers Lab veteran of more than 30 years who helped to establish many of the key information resources and services BLI offers today, Tony Polifrone has managed the day-to-day operations of the business in increasingly responsible position. Prior to his current position as Managing Director, he served as President for 12 years and prior to that he held the positions of Vice President and Managing Editor. A graduate of Rutgers University with a double major, he started his career at BLI covering the office products industry, editing test reports, compiling databases, conducting lab tests and writing and editing BLI's Copier Review and Typeline newsletters.

Andy Kim
Manager of Technical Services

Andy has a unique background as an analytical chemist with over 15 years experience in the chemical industry. For 12 of those years, he worked as a toner chemist developing toner, and overseeing QA/QC and toner manufacturing. Andy earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Rutgers University. Pete Emory
Manager of Lab Testing

Pete Emory is an industry expert with more than 20 years experience. Prior to joining BLI, he worked as a product technical specialist for several OEMs. He has been a member of BLI's lab test team for more than 10 years, and has functioned as the manager of lab testing for the past four years helping to develop test methods and procedures, evaluating products and overseeing product testing.

David Sweetnam
European Lab and Research Manager

David has over 16 years imaging industry experience having been the former vice president of research and content development at a rival independent office equipment test firm. He is in the ideal position to understand the differences between the U.S. and European markets, having worked as an analyst in the office imaging industry on both sides of the Atlantic since the digital revolution began. Before moving into the analytical and testing side of the imaging industry, David spent several years advising corporate and public sector clients for two FTSE-listed companies in the UKs on a wide range of office imaging, software and communication solutions. David earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Reading University.
